Robinwood Careers

leading a recruitment drive for a times top 100 company to attract a new generation.

Based very close to our studio, Robinwood Activity Centres are a company that has been with creative since the very beginning. The challenge at hand here was a recruitment push into 2019. The team at Robinwood asked us to propose an approach to their recruitment targeted at using digital resources, and also possibly taking advantage of the large amount of staff they already have.

This project initially started back in 2016 when we branded an extension of the core brand for careers, since then the project has pushed onwards to new heights. In the duration of 2018 alone we have produced everything from social media campaigns to traditional posters in university campus.

brand identity – website – campaign – e-mail marketing – social

adjusting the strategy without disrupting what came before.

As mentioned above, Robinwood Careers has existed as a creative generated brand since 2016, so we already had a logo, colour palette and typeset to hand. Our challenge here was to now adapt this to a new digital and social approach, without leaving the existing website and branding behind.

After meeting with the recruitment team, we came up with several approaches to pursue over the course of a few months, with assets spanning e-mail campaigns utilising internal staff, and social media campaigns targeting users with common interests.

traditional print advertising has worked, so why change what isn’t broken?

Simple clear print advertising was used to target locations with high footfall or the clients target market. Our design here has several jobs to do, not only catch the eye, but catch enough attention to draw a passing candidate in closer.

Once attention is obtained and the candidate has visited the website, we used a variety of conversion methods to process candidates, as well as building a system that carefully integrates internally to minimise work for internal staff.

Since the campaigns were launched, Robinwood have surpassed their quota for new staff required for 2019, and Robinwood Careers is on ice until the next time…

What makes a creative agency tick?

or just tidbits that have sparked some inspiration.

  • When Penthouse Carpets approached us with the challenge of creating a room set image for each of their premium carpet ranges to be used for a series of full page adverts in an esteemed interiors magazine, we were thrilled. But what’s the catch?...

  • Some of our customers have been working on showcase videos, others really needed that stand out image for their new website. If you building or location is in beautiful scenery (not to brag, but our's ain't too shabby!) then what better way to make a lasting impression, than confidently showing it off?...
