updating an heirloom, while retaining the core identifiable elements.
The first port of call when addressing this task, was to focus on the typography, getting this element correct was paramount for our vision of the brand. With limited constraints for overall changes, the typeface selected had to do a lot of heavy lifting.
Adding a strap-line as reinforcement allowed the new branding to really come alive and stand apart from the old counterpart.
We also generated an icon set to go with this new typography as this was something the client had prominently used in the past and needed updating to follow suit.
