Fielden Factors

laying the foundations for a stronger brand reputation and a bolder vision for the future.

Fielden Factors are a builders merchant with several UK based depots. They approached us to revitalise the brand, yet requested we didn’t stray too far from what they have had in the past, as a concern for their current customers.

After several concepts and discussion meetings, the visual you see here is the final version we settled on. Retaining the core visual id, with very close colours to the original but revised enough to give it a modern considered look. As the client is a builders merchant we were collaboratively insistent on retaining the ‘rugged outdoors’ feel of the brand. We also worked to add a strapline to the business to allow us to deliver more across the board.

brand identity – packaging – vehicle livery

updating an heirloom, while retaining the core identifiable elements.

The first port of call when addressing this task, was to focus on the typography, getting this element correct was paramount for our vision of the brand. With limited constraints for overall changes, the typeface selected had to do a lot of heavy lifting.

Adding a strap-line as reinforcement allowed the new branding to really come alive and stand apart from the old counterpart.

We also generated an icon set to go with this new typography as this was something the client had prominently used in the past and needed updating to follow suit.

going further than ever before, and allowing a brand to become more than just a logo.

Alongside updating the core branding, we have also been involved in generating matching visuals for trucks and transport vehicles, with the fleet being updated gradually as new vehicles are added.

We also generated new packaging designs for their products, from 1ton bags through to smaller transparent polythene versions. Each of these designed to represent the new modern vision for the company.

What makes a creative agency tick?

  • Some of our customers have been working on showcase videos, others really needed that stand out image for their new website. If you building or location is in beautiful scenery (not to brag, but our's ain't too shabby!) then what better way to make a lasting impression, than confidently showing it off?...
