As a brand new venture, we had complete control of this journey from the very start. Beyond the idea, and the brand name the client was very much happy to be in our hands. After researching the marketplace they were entering, we quickly realised the gap they were aiming for did exist, and if executed correctly, the project could very quickly become a resounding success.

 

This project was heavily anchored around generating a strong and instantly recognisable brand, pairing this with a user friendly e-commerce website and ensuring it gained maximum exposure using a multi-faceted marketing strategy.

When given the brief for Camper Select, our team set out on a path of research, that not only looked at direct competitors, but suppliers and business in similarly related industries. Realising there was a tendency for the marketplace to stick to a more ‘tried’ and ‘true’ visual style, which some may now call outdated.

We noticed buried in amongst a lot of similar looking ideas, were a few newer starter brands really embracing a modern aesthetic while still delivering outstanding products and services. We quickly realised this was the route we were going to explore with Camper Select.

Once the core brand identity was established, our development team worked to create a seamless online user experience tailored for Camper Select’s core target market. With a huge focus on usability the initial e-commerce website was created and loaded with over 500 products ready for launch.

 

Ensuring key messaging, special offers, latest products and big name brands were always visible in some way was key to the final piece of tying it all together, a 6 month launch SEO & PPC campaign, with a strategy in place to really take advantage of the USP Camper Select were delivering.

After exploring a variety of options, a common consensus always lead back to the same initial concept. Progressing this is where the brand identity really began to grow its legs. Utilising the icon element separately from the main logo became a crucial part of the brand, allow us to quickly grow a set of printed materials supporting the e-commerce website being built.
