Social Media Executive

Full time, permanent
Dress Code: Smart / Casual
Office based / offsite meetings
Salary level:  up to £25000 dependent on experience
Pension: 3% + 5% employee contribution
Hours of work: Working hours 8.30/9.30 am –  5.00/6.00pm – subject to workload
Lunch: unpaid 30mins
Holidays: 20 days + 8 bank holidays. 3 years+ service: 1 extra day. Capped at 5 days.

Main Duties & Key Responsibilities:

Due to expanding our digital offering we now require a social media executive to head up this department.


The ideal candidate will have experience in social media management and will not be afraid to throw themselves into the agencies’ everyday life working closely with the team.


As this is a creative role, it is integral that the candidate has basic photo and video editing skills (Adobe Creative Suite) and feels comfortable creating regular content.


*Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

  • Devise and post daily content including interactive Posts/Stories/Reels/YouTube
  • Drive innovative, seasonal campaigns such as user-generated giveaways and competitions
  • Analyse marketing insights to improve future campaigns and strategy
  • Produce interesting and unique copyright for social media posts
  • Liaise with the Creative Team
  • Developing, guiding and monitoring clients presence across multiple social media platforms
  • Including disciplines and skills, including strategy development, project management, customer service, networking and content creation


Essential skills:

  • 1-year+ experience in a marketing position OR relevant university degree [website] Digital Marketing, Media Comms)
  • Basic photo and video editing skills
  • Adobe Creative Suite
  • High level of written communication
  • Unfaltering eye for detail
  • Professional customer etiquette
  • Imaginative thinker
  • Ability to adapt to new environment


Desired skills:

  • DSLR Photography and Videography
  • Experience boosting/sponsoring paid posts online
  • Knowledge of Facebook Creator Studio
