Fast fashion took on a new meaning when the Creative team stepped up to produce a high quality website for leading independent fashion retailer, Michelle B.
Running a successful fashion business from a beautiful store in the picturesque village of Barrowford, Lancashire, Michelle Berkins had to close her beloved shop during the COVID-19 outbreak to protect her colleagues and customers.
When Creative’s managing director, Debra Fisher, approached Michelle with a proposal to build a website that would enable Michelle’s loyal customers to keep shopping, the fashion retailer was delighted to go ahead with the project.
In just 10 days, the Creative team delivered a high quality and super stylish e-commerce website, featuring all of Michelle’s products in a user-friendly format.
Using the Shopify platform, the Creative team was able to produce a website that not only looked the part, but ticked all the boxes for a thriving independent clothing retailer.
Michelle and her team would be able to manage orders and products independently, with very little training, due to the simple structure of the Shopify back end.
The Creative team added some initial products, then conducted a basic training session remotely with the client, so the Michelle B team could continue to manage the site in-house.
Now, Michelle’s team is regularly uploading products and processing orders with ease and confidence.
Another of the reasons we chose to use the Shopify platform for this project was because it offers plenty of scope for front end development, as well as the opportunity to brand the site using a colour scheme and typography to suit the client’s established business.
The Shopify platform we opted for also enabled easy integration with Michelle B’s social media accounts. Michelle and her team can now share new products and the latest news with their growing following on Facebook and Instagram, as well as driving traffic to the new site from the brand’s social platforms.
